But our current diplomatic state could not exist within the mechanics of how you were operating. I knew the "grey area" of post Curse Alliance space would weed itself out eventually. This is just another evolution of the area. The Curse region was an allied protectorate of SE/ATUK/Xetic, not just by one entity, but by all 3. By having friends that continue to pirate in a neighbor's space, you put yourself in a position to suffer the consequences. You have made your friends, and we have made ours. The difference here is, our friends in the area, such as SE, ATUK, and many other individual corps like Celestial Cartel, Stronghold Corp, etc.. have chosen not to attack Allied forces. Your friends, of which you permit open travel rights to, and who aid you in fighting your enemies, have chosen to partake in that activity.

So no, pre-emptive diplomatic negotiations were not necessary in this scenario, as all we have done here is drop a NAP. If you would like to continue your "diplomatic" path, please contact Primer. If not, that's OK too, we'll see what the future holds for both of our alliances.

I certainly don't see why so many of you have chosen to take offense to the dropping of a NAP. It's simply non-aggression. That status can certainly continue until you, or forces you condone, continue to make attacks on the Allied protectorate zones.
